Can heavy computer use really cause glaucoma? - glaucoma causes more condition_symptoms

the amount of the computer per day? 18 hours? Why does this cause glaucoma, because of the color? or because of its proximity to the monitor?

Glaucoma is the result of damage to the optic nerve, often caused by increased intraocular pressure (IOP). This can occur when excess fluid accumulates in the interior of the eye (the eye is not too much fluid or well) and after an eye injury can occur after surgery, eyes, or because a tumor of the eye. Studies difficult to interpret on a possible link between computers and glaucoma, especially for users of computers, or a short-sighted vision to begin.
